Today in retro gaming, we celebrate the release of Grand Theft Auto 2. While it wasn’t yet the powerhouse we know today, Rockstar’s sequel to its original top-down crime spree spectacular upped the ante with more weapons, missions and vehicles…and a brand-spankin’ new city to call your own.
It was October 25th, 1999, and for all we knew the world was going to grind to a halt two months later. Might as well wreck it, right? Abso-frickin’-lutely, my friends.
