Too much work in a very short time can be quite risky for your body.
You can engage in interval training which is a workout of high intensity with interspersed workouts of a lesser intensity. It will give your body more time to get used to your new routine. Try not to go on a crash diet or dubious medication that promises instant weight loss as it may not be very healthy for your body. If you cut too many calories out of your daily intake, you will actually feel weaker. Then you will not be able to muster up enough strength to exercise well. This is because when you drastically decrease your diet, the muscle mass also reduces along with fat.
